Meet your teacher

I offer expert ESL tutoring services for preschool and early elementary learners. English is my first language and I have been teaching English language learners in classrooms around the world for more than 25 years. I'm skilled in working with scholars of diverse cultures, learning styles, and language levels.  

I can relate! I know what it's like to learn new languages, adjust to new cultures and be the new student in school. Throughout my life I've lived in six different countries, attending middle school and university in France. I have taught classes in France, Germany, Japan and Belgium. It's while living in Belgium that I developed Hello English! Tutoring.

My years of teaching experience are backed up by advanced degrees and certification in education and language instruction.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• TESOL Certificate (Teaching English as a Second or Other Language)
• Master of Arts in Teaching
• K-6 Elementary Education Teaching License, Utah  (K-5th)
• Coursework specific to early childhood education
• Certified English Language Proofreader
• Current enrollment in Oregon Central Background Registry
